Corsair is well known for their wide range of PC products, covering memory, power supplies, cases, cooling solutions keyboards, mice and complete systems, but that doesn’t mean that the company shouldn’t try to broaden their approach to the premium PC market. It’s time for Corsair to embed itself further into the PC market with an even more extensive range of products.

Today, Corsair has announced several new PC accessories, ushering in a new generation of their premium sleeved PSU cables as well as their first PCIe extension cable, a new variety of sleeved internal connectors and their debut product for the premium TIM (thermal interface material) scene.

There is no shortage of PC cases that offer support for vertically mounted graphics cards, making the addition of a 300mm “Premium PCIe 3.0 16x Extension Cable” a no brainer for Corsair. The company already offers plenty of cases with support for Vertically mounted graphics cards, giving them little reason not to provide the accessory. Staying out of this market would have guaranteed that their competitors profit from features that are available within Corsair cases, making this release a necessity in some regards.

Corsair has marketed their PCIe extension cable as offering “EMI shielding” and use a “fully flexible” cable, though like other PCIe extension cables we recommend handling Corsair’s offering with care.

Second up we have Corsair’s new 4th Generation Premium Sleeved PSU cables, which ship in Black, White, Red, Blue, Red/Black, White/Black and Blue/Black colour options and ship with modular interlocking cable combs.

These cables also ship with a triple-layer mesh paracord sleeve, ensuring that all of these cables are hard wearing and completely cover the wires underneath. Corsair has also kitted these kits out with in-line capacitors within their 24-pin, EPS 12V, and PCIe cabled to ensure clean voltage delivery and minimal ripple.

These cables are compatible with all of Corsair’s Type-4 power supplies, with further details being available on Corsair’s website.

Up next we have Corsair’s new line of premium SATA cables, which will ship in 30cm/60cm lengths, red, white blue and black colour option and in straight-straight and straight to angled configurations, making them suitable for almost any modern PC.

As you can see in the image below, each cable is sleeved and lacks heat shrink, with the cable sleeves entering into the cable’s moulded connector, which gives these premium SATA cables a notable visual upside over self-sleeved SATA cables. These cables are designed to match Corsair’s other sleeved cables, offering end-users the same colour options.

To match Corsair’s premium SATA cables, the company also plans to offer a selection of front-panel extension kits that are designed to improve upon your case’s stock cables, with Corsair shipping kits with red, black, blue and white colour options.

These cabled will be available in kits that offer 30cm extensions for power/reset LEDs/switches, USB 3.0 headers, USB 2.0 headers and HD Audio connections. Each of these cables will use sleeved wires and coloured connectors where possible, though select extensions are required to use heat-shrink in specific areas (as seen below).

To round things off, we have Corsair’s new TM30 thermal paste, which is based on zinc oxide and is designed to offer better thermal performance than “common thermal paste”.

This paste is designed to offer a low viscosity to easily fill all of the potential gaps between your CPU cooler and your processor, maximising thermal transfer area. Corsair has also considered the longevity of their compound, promising high levels of stability that will last for years without drying, cracking or experience any changes to consistency.

Corsair has also confirmed that their new paste is non-conductive, non-toxic and contains no volatile compounds.
