Alphacool HardTube Fittings and Tubing

Rigid tubing used to be a thing exclusive to extreme modders, being exceptionally difficult to produce, fit and disassemble. Recently several companies have came to market with their own Rigid Tubing and fittings, taking away a lot of the time and effort required to accomplish this feat of PC plumbing excellence.

Now Alpacool are being added to the list of premium watercooling companies who supply this kind of gear. Alphacool have not just arrived to the party, but have came in full force offering something unique, they are offering metal tubing which are usable with their fittings unlike other companies which just offer acrylic or plexi tubing.

As is usual with these fittings they require the use of specialized fittings, to ensure that if used properly your system will be leak free and easy to use.

"HT (HardTube) Fitting and tubing system has been under development for many months. The HT fitting use a triple lock system comprising of two o-rings and a flat gasket to evenly secure the HT tube in place.
The HT Fittings also use a standard G1/4 thread so they can be used with any inner thread fittings to add easier routing options. Above you can see the HT fittings combined with a standard Alphacool 90° inner thread fitting. The HT fittings range is also compatible with any 13mm OD acrylic tubes."

That's a nice touch making the inside hexagonal, not so you can tighten them but if you've ever got one stuck they are a PITA to get out. I had to put a pipe wrench around the threads of one of my ghosts to get it out which really didn't feel nice. The black finish looks sweet, I would of definitely gone for those puppies had I been building now.

Yup the hex is not for installation as fingre tight is enough but for getting them out again Quote

That's pretty smart, didn't even notice that in the Pictures.

The amount of times I wished fittings were easier to take out.Quote
