G.Skill has revealed the flagship series of DDR5 memory modules, offering their customers high-speed DR5 memory with tight CL timings that can deliver performance levels far above JEDEC's official DDR5 specifications. 

With their new Trident Z5 memory modules, G.Skill's offering memory speeds of between DDR5-5600 and DDR5-6400 with dual-channel 2x16GB (32GB) kit capacities and CL timings as tight as 36-36-36-76. These memory kits are based on Samsung made DDR5 memory ICs, which G.Skill binned to deliver the highest performance levels. 

Two factors define memory performance, bandwidth and latency. Ideally, high-performance DRAM would offer high frequencies to deliver higher levels of bandwidth/throughput and lower latencies to allow data to be accessed with minimal delay. G.Skill's DDR5 modules promise high levels of bandwidth and tight CL timings, giving users a great mix of raw bandwidth and snappy reaction times. That said, it remains to be seen how these modules will compare to low latency DDR4 modules in latency-sensitive workloads (such as PC gaming).

G.Skill's Trident Z5 modules will be available in RGB and non-RGB flavours. These modules will be available to purchase this November from G.Skill's partnered retailers.

Revolutionary DDR5 Performance & Power Management

Designed to fully utilize the faster frequency speed and boost data transfer rate, each DDR5 IC is implemented with twice the amount of banks and bank groups, as well as a doubled burst length, at 32 banks across 8 banks with a burst length of 16. Combined with a module layout comprised of two 32-bit sub-channels, DDR5 memory is capable of delivering more data than DDR4.

Additionally, DDR5 memory modules are built with an on-board PMIC (power management integrated circuit) chip, allowing better granular power control and more reliable power delivery to improve signal integrity at high frequency speeds. Ultimately, ensuring the highest level of system stability for gaming and for work.
