Top tier memory modules are designed to offer users an idealised balance between memory latency, speed and capacity, the sweet spot for which varies depending on your chosen workload.

G.Skill has just announced new “extreme low-latency” DDR4 3600MHz memory kits, which will be available with CL14 timings and kits which offer users four 16GB DIMMs to deliver a combined 64GB of memory capacity.

With CL14-15-15-36 timings and capacities of up to 64GB, these modules and kits are ideal for those who require high memory capacities and low latencies. Better still, the fact that these kits are available with 16GB DIMMs and 3600MHz speeds, placing them at the performance sweet-spot for new Zen 2 Ryzen/Ryzen Threadripper systems.

With large capacities, high clock speeds and low latencies, these kits are ideal for most workloads. This is especially true for gamers, who can see notable performance benefits when using low latency DDR4 memory modules in some CPU/memory limited workloads.

G.Skill has tested these memory kits on Intel’s Z490 motherboard platform using ASUS’ ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI) Z490 and MSI’ MEG Z490 GODLIKE motherboards, with AMD X570 testing being conducted on ASUS’ PRIME X570-P motherboard.

G.Skill plans to release these new low latency, high capacity DDR4 modules in Q4 2020 through their worldwide distribution network.
