There are many iconic designs within the PC gaming industry, and from time to time, these classics need to be refreshed. Yes, a great design aesthetic is timeless; but that doesn't mean that the hardware underneath couldn't do with some modernisation.

SteelSeries' Sensei mouse was one of the most widely used gaming mice in the world of eSports, but over time gamers eventually had to move on. Ten years have passed since the Sensei's debut. The design has been copied, reworked and analysed by the competition. Now it is the time for SteelSeries to reassert its dominance with updated hardware and the same classic shape that gamers love.

With the Sensei Ten, SteelSeries uses a custom-designed PixArt sensor called the TrueMove Pro, offering 1-1 tracking, 18,000 CPI and 450 inches-per-second (IPS) tracking speeds. The mouse's custom sensors also react to tilted mouse manoeuvres, tilt slams and quick flicks, creating an ideal mouse for high-end PC gaming. Through their work with PixArt, SteelSeries' Sensei 10 will offer gamers a true Sensei successor that is up to the challenges of modern eSports gaming.

Like many modern mice, the Sensei 10 supports RGB lighting in the form of two RGB zones. For extended longevity, SteelSeries uses 60 million click mechanical switches and a high-grade polymer shell that's designed to handle years of abuse. The Sensei Ten is designed for performance and Longevity.

Below is a comment from SteelSeries Brian Luu, the company's Product Manager of Mice.

The original Sensei is the most beloved mouse in the history of PC gaming, and we’ve devoted our engineering expertise to bringing that original shape and feel back to gamers,

Our team has done a fantastic job staying true to the Sensei design, while upgrading its performance for the demands of modern esports.

Well, Sensei is popular enough that people might just want a new similar one, so there's no learning curve.

Still using a Kana V2? On my second rig. I absolutely love it. Nice and simple, not too heavy, well built and a joy to use.
