G.Skill releases two new keyboards with Cherry MX "Speed" Switches
Today, G.Skill has released new variants of their KM570 and KM870 keyboards with Cherry MX Silver "Speed" Switches, offering faster inputs by using a smaller actuation distance and full n-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting technologies.
Before now Cherry's MX Silver "speed" switches were exclusive to Corsair's Rapidfire series keyboards, offering an actuation distance of 1.2mm instead of 2mm and a powerful keyboard input controller for the fastest possible response time.
Both the KM570 and KM870 are already available with Cherry MX red, blue and brown switch options, with the new Cherry MX Silver switch option coming with a $10 price premium.
The G.Skill Ripjaws KM570 with Cherry MX Silver "speed" switches will cost $109.99 in the US and is expected to become available for purchase later this month.
