When it comes to high-end keyboards, it's hard to beat a set of Cherry MX keys, especially when they are combined with a sturdy frame and a reliable brand name.

Today, Cooler Master has released their SK621 mechanical gaming keyboard, their first Bluetooth gaming keyboard, bringing together quality key switches with a minimalistic, yet sturdy enclosure from Cooler Master. While this wireless keyboard is covered in RGB lighting, its branding remains subtle, allowing this keyboard to feel at home anywhere, be it at an office or with your home gaming PC. To maintain their keyboard's small form factor, Cooler Master is using Cherry MX Low Profile key switches, which are a relatively new addition to the world of mechanical keyboards.

If there was one thing that I could say about Cherry, it's that you know the score when it comes to their keys, offering a level of reliability and consistency that has made them the mainstay of most of today's high-end keyboard offerings. With their latest MX Low Profile series switches, Cherry has entered a new frontier, enabling their brand to move into smaller form factors while retaining RGB functionality and the same durability and precision that we have come to expect over the years.

The SK621 features a 65-key design and offers users up to 14 hours of battery life when the keyboard's RGB LEDs are enabled, or up to four months then lighting is disabled. Cooler Master's lighting can be controlled using the company's portal software (download link here). The keyboard can be charged using USB Type-C, with the keyboard also offering an optional wired mode for direct control.
