Cherry is one of the biggest names in the keyboard market, so much so that you likely cannot name any major keyboard maker who hasn't at some point used Cherry MX key switches on their products.

While the Cherry KC 6000 SLIM is not a mechanical keyboard, it maintains the same levels of precision and style that only German engineering can provide, delivering consumers a slim design that is built around a sturdy metallic plate to offer a long service life. The KC 6000 SLIM is designed for office use, with an integrated numpad and LEDs for the capslock, numpad and scroll lock keys alongside audio control keys.

The KC6000 SLIM uses an SX scissor key mechanism to offer a low maximum depth of 15mm when stored, something that the company's bulkier MX and MX Slim keycaps cannot match. The keycaps themselves are also laser engraved for increased abrasion resistance with the keyboard itself offering a two-year warranty.

Availability of Cherry's KC 6000 Slim will start in May, with retail pricing of £35 in the UK. €40 in the EU and $50 in the US, shipping with both white keycaps and a silver housing and black keycaps with black casing.

I like the look of this one as a alternative keyboard to my mechanical gaming keyboard, and and that price could be worth itQuote

It's funny because I liked those chiclet key things on my Macbook air, yet when I had a good quality Lenovo desktop board I absolutely hated it and literally could not type on it. Maybe because of they key size? IDK. Was enough to put me off for life though !Quote
