Zotac preps a low-profile version of Nvidia GTX 1650

When the GTX 1650 launched, we are confused by the absence of low-profile cards on the market, GPUs that would enable users of compact systems to deliver the gaming grunt offered by Nvidia’s Turing architecture. 

Low-power graphics cards are ideal for the half-height graphics market, for obvious reason, they consume little power and create minimal amounts of heat, factors that make them ideal for mounting in a compact PCB inside miniature systems. In short, a half-height GTX 1650 is an ideal graphics card for upgrading an old OEM PC or injecting some gaming credentials into your compact HTPC.  

Computerbase has reported that Zotac has plans to create a half-height/low profile version of Nvidia’s GTX 1650, offering users a dual-fan design with HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI-D display outputs. Within this form factor, graphics cards like AMD’s RX 570 are not an option, making Nvidia’s low power GTX 1650 the ideal candidate.
