XFX to release an RX 480 with a factory overclock and backplate
It looks like XFX will be releasing several reference design RX 480 style GPUs that feature factory overclocks and full cover backplate.
Earlier in the month we had seen what XFX call the RX 480 Black, which had a full cover backplate and a factory overclock of 20MHz. Now Videocardz has revealed that there is also an RX 480 Black OC edition, which is reported to have a factory overclock of 1328MHz.
The reference RX 480 is said to run at clock speeds of 1266MHz, at least according to recent leaks. It must be noted that the stated clock speed of 1266MHz is a boost clock speed, with the GPU having a base clock speed of 1120MHz.
Below is a table detailing the known specifications of this GPU (from PCPER), comparing the clock speeds of the reference RX 480 and the overclocked XFX RX 480 Black Edition reference style GPUs.

Right now we are still eagerly waiting to see how AMD's new Polaris lineup of GPUs will perform with RX 480 releasing on June 29th, our review will be live then.
