Unreal Engine 4 Ragnosaur Tech Demo Released

Personally I'm looking forward to seeing more Unreal Engine 4 games come out, with so many 3rd party tech demo's coming out, like the beautiful Ragnosaur Demo from Eric Wilkinson. I wonder how good new AAA games will look using this engine?

We have already seen what Epic Games can do with their Kite and Elemental tech Demos, so it will be great to see what others can do with this engine.

This tech demo was recorded using Nvidia Shadowplay and was ran on a GTX 770 with an AMD FX 8350. The full specs of the developers rig is below. The Ragnosaur tech demo can be downloaded for free from the creators official site here.

?AMD FX 8350 4.7 Ghz
?Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0
?8gb 1866mhz Corsair
?Palit GTX 770 Jetstream
?Enermax Liqtech 120X
?Cooler Master Silent Pro 850W

With next generation APIs like DirectX 12 and Vulcan on the way, modern engines like Cryengine, Unreal Engine and even Valve's Source 2 Engine becoming easier and cheaper to develop on, the potential of our PCs have never been easier to tap into, so in a few years graphics like this could become the norm for AAA PC games.

Congratulation to Eric Wilkinson, the creator of this Tech Demo, for his hard work and creating such a masterpiece.

But can it handle crysis?

While these demos are great... games are different and aren't scripted the way these are. So hopefully they can get it just as good in a game. Maybe a game such as Gears of War 4?! That'd be awesomeQuote
