Underwater structures found in Fallout 4

After the hidden Harpoon Gun was found in Fallout 4 we have always suggested that an Underwater DLC could be coming to the game. Now Underwater lights and Structures have been found, and some highly detailed landscapes.

The Redditor FiveStarFacial had decided while adventuring that he would drop down into the deep ocean and just start walking, to find out for himself if he could find anything interesting, which is something that he indeed found, finding detailed coral reefs and even structures.

The game already has a breathe underwater perk and a hidden Harpoon gun weapon, which to us always suggested that the game was always intended to have an underwater city or some other underwater element, which was either cut from the main game or was always intended as a DLC.

Below you can see pictures of the world under the sea, which is surprisingly full of colour in some places and is certainly more lively than some of the environments above the ground.

At the end of the journey working lighting and structures were found, but sadly no door or other entrance could be found, leaving questions of why the underwater locations in the game has this detail when the game never intentionally takes you there and the purpose of these underwater structures.

Right now it remains to be seen whether or not underwater content will be made available for Fallout 4 at a later date through DLC or not, but we are almost certain that this was Bethesda’s intention at some point during the games development. Why have a detailed ocean floor or a breathe underwater perk if you are not going to use it in some way?
