Ubisoft Reveals their VR Exclusive Game Eagle Flight

Ubisoft has revealed their new VR Exclusive Game, Eagle Flight, for Playstation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The game allows you to play as an eagle and fly over the city of Paris, over the streets and around obstacles in a gaming experience that is as close to flying as is humanly possible.

Developed exclusively for VR (virtual reality), Eagle Flight sends you to the skies of Paris to experience the freedom of flying like never before!

With innovative and intuitive controls, you will quickly learn to perform impressive aerial maneuvers and engage in heart-pounding aerial dogfights in the blink of an eye.

Eagle Flight will be available in 2016.

The version of Paris that you will be flying through will be in some kind of post-human time, where the city is empty, collapsing in places and is slowly being taken back by the wildlife.

Eagle Flight will support single player and up to 6 player multiplayer, though at this time it hasn't been revealed what exactly players will do in the game apart from fly around.

The game has been developed specifically for VR, with Ubisoft saying the recent "technology breakthroughs" will minimize the possibility of motion sickness.

Eagle Flight has been developed specifically for VR with a strong focus on accessibility and comfort,

As a result, the game features an Ubisoft-developed VR control technology breakthrough that provides players with intuitive and precise controls. The new technology greatly reduces chances of motion sickness while enabling players to quickly master their skills in order to perform impressive stunts and experience the true sensation of flight.

Eagle Flight will be available for Playstation VR, Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive sometime in 2016.
