Total War: WARHAMMER Gameplay Video - Dwarfen Fury

Today we have the first ever hands on gameplay of Creative Assembly's upcoming game Total War Warhammer, showcasing the Ambush of the thundering Forge, an early quest from the Dwarfen Campaign.

In this Battle you will see exactly how the Dwarfen army fights, and several differences will be highlighted against the other races. The Dwarfs are a highly defensive race, focusing on ranged combat, but that does not mean that they are not capable melee fighters when required.

This Let’s Play is an example of an early Quest Battle from the Dwarfs campaign. In the vast tunnels of the Underway, a Dwarfen force lead by High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer is ambushed by a Greenskin horde. Showcasing new features and never-before-seen units battling underground for the first time in a Total War game, this video is a taste of things to come and a glimpse into the dark and exciting fantasy world of Total War: WARHAMMER.

This gameplay is still work in progress and subject to change, but right now the game looks pretty good and is much more complex that typical Total War games due to the increased in enemy types and races.

Right now a release date has not been given for Total War Warhammer, but there will be playable demos at EGX 2015.
