This DisplayPort adapter makes 4K @ 120Hz HDMI 2.1 possible on today's GPUs

HDMI 2.1 displays are already available, bringing TVs that are capable of 4K 120Hz playback to the consumer market. The problem today is that while these screens are available, they are not supported by any of today's graphics cards, all of which support HDMI 2.0. 

To address this issue, Club3D has created an active DisplayPort 1.4 adapter that can deliver users a full 4K 120 Hz HDR HDMI 2.1 output, allowing today's graphics cards to support 4K at 120Hz on modern HDMI 2.1 television screens. 

Using DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC compression, Club3D's CAC-1085 adapter can convert signals to HDMI 2.1 with resolutions as high as 8K (7680 x4320) at 60Hz with HDR enabled. This can also be used to deliver 4K 120Hz HDR, a resolution and framerate that is supported by many modern OLED televisions. 

This is an active adapter, requiring external power through USB Type-C. The only restriction for this device is that your DisplayPort 1.4 hardware supports DSC 1.2. This feature is supported on today's Turing RTX, and RDNA powered graphics cards.
