'The Hunt Begins' with Nvidia's latest Game Bundle

Nvidia has officially started their 'The Hunt Begins' promotion, bundling Capcom's Monster Hunter: World with selected Nvidia graphics cards at participating retailers.

This offer begins today on October 23rd and will end on November 29th, granting purchasers of GTX 1060 (6GB), GTX 1070 and GTX 1070 Ti graphics card a free copy of Monster Hunter: World while stocks last. Sadly, this offer does not apply to any RTX series graphics cards, or lower and higher-end GTX 10 series GPUs.

At this time Nvidia hasn't released a list of participating retailers, though we know that Overclockers UK, Scan UK and EVGA's web store currently bundle Monster Hunter: World with applicable graphics hardware. This list of retailers will no doubt grow in the coming days.

In Monster Hunter: World, you’ll hunt gigantic monsters in amazing landscapes while crafting epic weapons to take on even bigger, badder beasts. Upgrade your weaponry with a GeForce GTX 10 Series-powered graphics card and enjoy the ultimate hunting experience.

For a limited time, take the game home free when you get Game Ready with a qualifying GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, 1070, or 1060 6GB graphics card.

Nvidia's reasoning behind this game bundle could be to help clear GTX 10-series stock from retailers, preparing the way for future mid-range Turing-based graphics hardware. Why release a GTX/RTX 2060 if store shelves are already overflowing with old GTX 1060 and GTX 1070 Ti stock?

At this time Nvidia has not posted on their website about this new game promotion.
