RX 470 pricing update - As low as £164.99
The RX 470 is now available to purchase, with some models coming in at lower prices that what we initially expected. As many of you already know pricing in the UK for PC hardware has been fluctuating a lot due to the ever changing value of GBP, resulting in several manufacturers already raising the UK pricing of both systems and components.
Sadly this has led to pricing that is increased over what we would have considered normal, at least when it comes to converting US Dollar prices to GBP, though it is worth noting that today's hardware still offers some great value for money.
Today we will be looking at the pricing and specifications of several models of the RX 470, showcasing what users will get for their money and where the best value can be had.
Today we will be looking at Sapphire's lineup, as they offer a huge range of different GPU models, from the ultra cheap reference style RX 470 with its silver style cooler all the way to the fairly expensive RX 470 Nitro+ OC 8GB.
One thing that is worth pointing out is that the RX 470 8GB is more expensive than the RX 480 4GB, making users make a difficult choice between a larger, faster pool of memory or more GPU cores at higher clock speeds.
