Rise of the Tomb Raider will be bundled with Nvidia GPUs

Recent emails from Nvidia in certain regions have confirmed that the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be bundles with select Nvidia GPUs between January 7th and February 23rd, despite the fact that the game will be making use of AMD’s TressFX and the last iteration of the game was an AMD Gaming Evolved title.

The game will be bundles with the GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980Ti GPUs and will also be bundles with laptops containing a GTX 970M or a higher end mobile GPUs.

The game will be using the latest version of AMD’s TressFX, giving the game more natural looking hair with a lesser performance hit when compared to the first iteration that was used in Tomb Raider.

Right now we do not know exactly when Tomb Raider will be released on PC, or the games minimum required PC specifications but we know that the release will be this month.

Rise of the Tomb Raider reviewed very well when the game was originally release on the Xbox One last year, but had problems selling in large numbers due to launching on the same date as Fallout 4, one of the most popular releases or recent months.
