Rainbow 6 Siege Delayed Until December

Rainbow 6 Siege has been delayed until December 1st from it's previous release date of October 13th, as the game requires more adjustments and improvements before launch, especially to the co-operative game modes.

This change in release date will mean that this game will release after other major FPS franchises like Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars: Battlefront.

"This wasn't an easy decision," said Ubisoft, "but based on the feedback we've received, and based on our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation. We're taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it's the right call."

"We understand that many of you are excited to get your hands on the final game, but as gamers ourselves we know that quality comes first and we are committed to delivering the best game possible,"

This change in release date will hopefully mean that Ubisoft has finally changed it's tone when to comes to the stability of their games at launch, which is something that recent titles such as Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed Unity had major difficulties with.

Pretty sure this is the second delay already.. it's nice to see that closed alpha is PC only. Hopefully that translates to a smooth launchQuote
