PowerColor teases a new Devil series GPU

In a newly announced giveaway Powercolor has revealed the existence of a new "DEVIL" series GPU, which is set to be released later this year.

Right now PowerColor has released no detailed information on their new Devil series GPU, only giving us the term "a new Devil is born". In the past PowerColor Devil series GPUs were dual core GPUs, suggesting that Powercolor's upcoming Devil series GPU will have a similar GPU setup.

Right now we do not know if this new GPU will be based on Polaris or Fiji silicon but at this time, but given the timing of this announcement it is more likely to be based on Polaris.

At this time PowerColor's upcoming Devil series GPU is thought to be a dual RX 480 based GPU, offering performance that should exceed their previous dual R9 390 Devil series GPU.

A dual Polaris GPU would be awesome, especially if they don't use an AIO and don't go above $550. That will easily help quell the tide of GTX 1080 hype. Very excited to see this. A dual Fiji GPU doesn't interest me personally at all.Quote
