Today Philips has launched their new 27-inch 278E8QJAB FreeSync display, which offers support for an ultra wide colour gamut that covers 130% of the sRGB (104% of the NTSC) colour Gamut, offering a wider range of perceivable colours on screen.

This additional colour supported combined with a high-quality VA panel-type makes this display ideal for those who create videos, edit photographs or otherwise require precise colour reproduction, this display also supports AMD's FreeSync technology but only with a relatively low FreeSync range of 49-75Hz.

The Philips 278E8QJAB also comes with an 1800mm curve radius, making this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations, especially in a corner desk setup.

Sadly this display does not come with support for VESA monitor stands, though it does come with support for HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort inputs. This display also comes with a resolution of 1080p, which may not be suitable for those that work on high-resolution videos or photographs.
