PC version Batman: Arkham Knight won't be fixed until fall

According to a leaked internal e-mail that has been sent to EB Games staff members, the PC-version of Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be fixed until Fall. Australian retailer EB Games has already stopped selling the PC version of the triple-A blockbuster. The port was a disaster.

The e-mail, which has been published by Kotaku Australia, reads the following. Please do note that the e-mail refers to Australian Spring, which is two months away.

“As previously advised,” read an internal EB Games email, “we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released.”

‘Spring’ is obviously a very vague window. Fixes could be incoming in just two months, or it could take up to five more. Either way, it’s good to see Rocksteady and Warner Bros. taking action. It’s not like they have a choice, though.

Did you buy Batman: Arkham Knight on PC? If so, did you request a (Steam) refund, or are you patiently waiting for patches to arrive? Let us know.

It's stunning at 4k I have to admit. Just a shame I don't like Batman, comics or super heroes really. I quite like the driving bits Quote

Well with all of the things they have taken out it runs OK. Min FPS in game was 31 and max was around 42, so typical 4k fodder really. Mind you, that was with MSAA enabled..

I got to a tank part that bored me but I'll try and push past that. Just wasting time 'til Fallout 4 really Quote
