Nvidia releases their GeForce 391.05 Hotfix driver

Nvidia has officially released their Geforce 391.05 Hotfix driver, which addresses issues with Nvidia's Freestyle tool, display corruption issues on their flagship Titan V GPU and adds support for Microsoft Surface Book series notebooks.  

This new driver offers no new game profiles or any other additions, instead focusing on bug fixes and other minor improvements. If you are not having any issues with your current drivers, we do not advise that you upgrade to this new driver iteration, as these fixes will also be included in future Nvidia driver stacks.

Nvidia's GeForce Hot Fix driver version 391.05 addresses the following:

- NVIDIA Freestyle stopped working issue
- Display corruption on Titan V GPU
- Added support for Microsoft Surface Book notebooks.

? [NVIDIA Control Panel]: The Display->Adjust desktop colour settings->Content type setting is reset to “Auto-selected” after rebooting the system. [2047088]

If I were to guess then it's because they are usually for really minor things that don't affect the majority of GFE users.Quote

But it's a hotfix for the previously released drivers being bad.

That means the bad drivers are available through GFE but not the hotfix haha. Makes zero sense to me.Quote
