Why is Nvidia able to sell these GPUs at MSRP, well the answer is simple, they don’t need to consider AIB or retail margins, pocketing all profits from themselves.Â
On the Nvidia Store, a GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition costs £679, a GTX 1080 FE costs £529, a GTX 1070 Ti FE costs £419, a GTX 1070 FE costs £379 and a GTX 1060 FE costs £279.Â

Nvidia’s Storefront presents a problematic position for AIBs and retailers within the GPU market, as Nvidia’s direct purchase storefront effectively says that “we don’t need you”, using their market dominance to absorb more of the industries profits for themselves. Â
