MSI have teased a new GTX 1070/1080 Mini GPU, a GPU that will be well suited to high-performance ITX gaming systems. We can see in the image below an MSI 1070/1080 Aero GPU, hinting that this new MSI mini GPU will feature similar performance in a much smaller form factor.
Competing GPU manufacturers like Zotac have already announced GTX 1080 Mini GPUs, packing in top-class performance into increasingly small form factors, allowing these GPUs to be used in small form factor systems with no performance degradation over Nvidia's reference models.

Sadly we cannot see from this image any detailed specifications of this GPU, though we can see that this GPU has a single DVI-D connection like Nvidia's Founders Edition and the majority of aftermarket GPU variants.

MSI are expected to reveal more information about this GPU within the next few weeks.

Any gpu that is top and for mini itx - I am instantly in love. The Zotac Mini 1080 was good from a few reviews that i have seen, it does not boost up as far as some cards and seem to be a bit limited by power.

Though in real life scenario its only behind in 2-3 fps. This could be interesting.Quote
