MSI's RX 480 Gaming X custom GPU has been revealed, showcasing MSI's latest Twin Frozr VI cooler, a custom PCB, and 8-pin PCIe power connector.
At this time the clock speeds of this new GPU are unknown, but they are expected to be higher than AMD's reference GPU design and will better facilitate overclocking thanks to the larger cooler design enhanced power delivery.
This GPU will be available for sale by the end of the month, though at this time we do not know what the price of this new GPU will be.

AMD don't need a crossfire connector. They have done it through PCIe for years now.

Liking the look of the 480s. Bang for buck seems to be pretty good! I know they don't (and aren't meant to) compete with the 1070s etc but they're such good value it would be hard to go past the 480 unless you have cash to burn or are driving a high end monitor with high framerates and resolution to match.Quote
