MSI reveals their RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X graphics cards

MSI has officially unveiled their RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X graphics cards, partnering with EK Water Blocks to deliver consumers fully water cooled variants of the company's RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio GPUs.

These SEA HAWK EK X series graphics cards will not be using the same PCB design as MSI's AIO cooled Sea Hawk series graphics cards, replacing Nvidia's reference PCB design with the custom  PCK used in their Gaming X Trio series graphics cards. This makes the Geforce RTX SEA HAWK EK X significantly larger than reference water cooled RTX series graphics cards, while also offering users the same out of the box overclock as the RTX Gaming X Trio series.

When looking at MSI's RTX 2080 Sea Hawk EK X, we can see that it offers a boost clock speed advantage of 60MHz and 150MHz when compared to the Nvidia Founders Edition and Reference models respectively, while the RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk EK X offers a higher factory overclock that is 120MHz above Nvidia Founders Edition model and 210MHz above Nvidia's reference design.

MSI reveals their RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk EX X graphics cards
Like other MSI RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti series graphics cards, the Sea Hawk EK X offers users three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, a single HDMI 2.0b connection and a single virtual-link connection. At this time we do not have MSRP pricing for EK's RTX SEA HAWK EK X series graphics cards.

Not sure I like how that block extends much wider than the actual PCB.

Looks odd to me. Especially considering its made by EK, not their style at all. Carbon corner point next to the IO should not cover the coolant channel path at all, thats the part we usually like to see. But here it just clips right across it Quote
