Mass Effect Andromeda will have Nvidia Ansel support at launch

In a recent article, Nvidia has confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda will have Ansel support at launch as well as support for HDR displays.

Nvidia Ansel is a screenshot utility that allows PC gamers to pause and move through a 3D environment to take the perfect in-game screenshots and render then at resolutions that are higher than your PC’s display.

So far Nvidia has not announced that Mass Effect Andromeda will be using any Nvidia made graphical features, like HBAO+ or HairWorks, though they do state that the Geforce Experience is the simplest method of sharing your Mass Effect gameplay on platforms like Facebook.

Bioware’s General Manager Aaryn Flynn has stated that Mass Effect Andromeda already has support for Nvidia Ansel, saying that they look forward to sharing screenshots of the game in the future.

We’ve already taken some amazing screenshots of the beautiful Mass Effect: Andromeda galaxy using NVIDIA Ansel, and look forward to sharing them.

EA has recently announced that Mass Effect Andromeda will release on March 21st in the US and March 23rd in Europe, though players who are interested in playing some Mass Effect now will be able to access Mass Effect 2 for free on Origin for a limited time.
