Lightning Returns: FFXIII system requirements and release date

 

Lightning Returns: FFXIII’s system requirements and release date have been revealed. The game will be arriving on Steam on December 10th and will finally complete the Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy on PC.

Right now no price has been revealed for the title, but it is not expected to be overly expensive given the age of the title and cost of the previous FFXIII games on Steam. 

 

 

This game has super low hardware requirements, requiring a minimum of a Windows XP OS, a Dual core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM and an Nvidia 8800GT or an AMD HD 4770.

The game recommends a quad core setup, 2GB of RAM and a GTX 460 or HD 5770, which is obscenely low for a modern PC title.

• Memory: 1500 MB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA® Geforce® 8800GT / ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD 4770 VRAM 512MB or later

• Hard Drive: 22 GB available space
• Sound Card: Sound card compatible with DirectX® 9.0c

 

Recommended:

• Processor: Intel® Coreâ„¢ 2 Quad (2.66 GHz)/ AMD Phenomâ„¢ II X4 (2.8 GHz) processor
• Memory: 2 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA® Geforce® GTXâ„¢ 460/ ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD 5770
• DirectX: Version 9.0c
• Hard Drive: 22 GB available space
• Sound Card: Sound card compatible with DirectX® 9.0c

 

If you are a Final Fantasy fan on PC you almost certainly be checking this out, but hopefully this game will not be plagues by many of the issues which have marred the previous PC versions.
