Lenovo's Explorer VR Headset has been reduced to £150

Black Friday is here, and that means that there are steep discounts on a range of tech products, even VR headsets. Over on the Lenovo website, the company's Explorer VR headset is currently available for £150, offering a resolution of 1440x1440 per eye, a refresh rate of 90Hz and a bundled set of motion controllers.

Lenovo's Explorer headset is part of the Windows Mixed Reality ecosystem, making it compatible with most VR experiences on Steam though SteamVR compatibility.

This headset initially launched for £399 in the UK, offering a higher display resolution than both the HTC Vive and Oculus and an "inside-out" tracking system, which functions without the need for external sensors.

If you were looking to get into VR on the cheap Lenovo's explorer headset appears to be a great low-cost offering, though it is worth noting that the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive has seen the highest levels of adoption amongst gamers, giving them better support in most games.

Lenovo's Explorer Windows MR Headset with Motion Controllers is currently available on the company's website for £149.99.
