GTX 1050 specifications leak

Specifications for Nvidia's GTX 1050 have leaked online, offering 768 GPU cores and 4GB of GDDR5 memory, offering the same number of GPU cores as their Maxwell powered GTX 950 but much higher GPU clock speeds.

At this time it is unknown if this GPU will use a cut-down version of Nvidia's GP106 GPU core or an all new GPU core design. It is expected that this GPU will have a TDP of under 75W, allowing this GPU to be powered without any 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power connections.

Right now it is rumoured that the GTX 1050 will launch in October and offer 4GB or GDDR5 memory at 7GHz on a 128-bit bus, which gives this GPU a huge decrease in memory bandwidth when compared to Nvidia's GTX 1060.

Nice budget GPU option. The x50 series of cards have held a good bang for buck option for the last few series of GPU's. Look forward to seeing what it can do.Quote

Considering the price of the 1060 3GB around £180 i'd think this has got to come in below £145 to make it an optionQuote

Wondering why they would have a reference card in an x60 series overshadow the vram amount in the GTS 1060 (Yes I did do that on purpose). It really seems a bit odd IMHO considering it likely is supposed to compete between the 460 and 470.Quote
