Ghost Recon: Wildlands announced at E3

Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference ended with a big, loud bang. A bang the called ‘Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ that is. The game, which is currently in development at Ubisoft Paris, is an ambitious open-world (coop) shooter. The game was announced with a really long (and brutal) trailer, which you can see for yourself below. Without further ado, let’s take a look.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands announced at E3

The game was obviously announced at E3, as stated above. Not much information was given, but the trailer showed that there are multiple ways to take out a target and complete a mission (the trailer showed long-range, stealth and guns blazing). The trailer also talked about manipulating targets from the inside, and letting them wipe each other out. If and how this will translate into a gameplay mechanic is unknown, but it sounds epic.

The trailer, with Friction by Imagine Dragons playing in the background, tells us that the game will be a massive open world. The mission in the trailer takes place in Bolivia, but the trailer does show a lot of different locations, so you can expect missions from all over the world.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands will release on PC, Xbox one and PS4. What do you think about Ghost Recon? Let us know.
