Forza Horizon 3 will soon be getting a performance improving patch

Forza Horizon 3 will soon be getting a performance improving patch on Windows 10, which offer better CPU performance and additional graphical options.

This update will be releasing on May 9th, the same day as the game's Hot Wheels Expansion. At launch, Forza Horizon 3 suffered from some CPU related performance issues that made it difficult to maintain a steady 60FPS framerate, making this update a necessity for high levels of CPU performance on PC.

The new patch will also add official support for additional wheels, which should help those who use them better enjoy their driving experience.

Right now Forza Horizon is a Windows 10 Store exclusive on PC, coming as an Xbox Play Anywhere title that gives players access to the game on both Xbox One and PC.

Cool. I've already played FH3 a lot but was always annoyed at the lack of optimisation in certain areas. Hopefully this will turn a good game into a great one. I'm not sold on the whole Hot Wheels thing though; I think I'll just skip that.Quote

I'd say this is a game with enough content to justify it.Quote

It was half price not too long ago. There was a sale on the Windows store that was barely advertised, it was £33 if I remember correctly.Quote
