Far Cry Primal’s new 101 Trailer reveals a lot of the new mechanics and many of the objectives of the game. Revealing many viscous beasts and human enemies. 

Far Cry Primal is the newest title in the Far Cry series, taking place back in the stone age where humans are not the top of the food chain. Expect a lot more of the animal interaction that you loved in Far Cry 3 and 4, but do not expect to be climbing any radio towers in a world before the wheel exists.  

In this game you play as Takar, the sole survivor of your hunting group and member of small tribe that is being faced with extinction by both beasts and rival tribes alike. In the game you will learn to craft deadly weapons and tame even deadlier beast in order to fend off and outsmart enemy beasts and tribes, allowing your tribe to grow and thrive.

The PC requirements for the game have been recently revealed and can be found below, requiring a minimum of a Quad core, or quad thread CPU, 4GB of RAM and a GTX 460 or HD 5770 with a minimum of 1GB of VRAM.

Looking at the minimum and recommended specifications of the game it looks like this game will favor those that use AMD GPUs, as the GTX 460 is usually more powerful than a HD 5770 and a GTX 780 is almost always more powerful than a R9 280X.   

 

 

You play as the first beast Master, a man who can tame beasts like Dire Wolves, Owls, Mammoths, Jaguars, Sabertooths and even Bears. Each animal has it’s own unique set of abilities and skills, but you can call on a different animal companion while in the wilds to adapt to your specific situation.  

Far Cry Primal will be releasing on February 23rd on PS4 and Xbox One and will be available on PC on March 1st.
