EVGA Reveal GPU power adapter and HB SLI Bridge

EVGA has already shown some impressive looking GPUs in their GTX 1080 series of custom GPUs, offering both attractive pricing and an interesting new aesthetic. Now EVGA has taken things one step further, doing something that a lot of gamers have been crying out for, a rear power connection option instead of a top mounted power connection.
While this optional extra may be seen as unnecessary by a lot of people, this option gives PC builders a geat chance to limit their cable clutter and improve the aesthetics of their PC by lowering the amount of visible cables inside your case. This power adapter will be compatible with all EVGA custom GTX 1080 series GPUs, though at this time pricing is unknown.
EVGA's Jacob Freeman has also shown off their new custom HB (High Bandwidth) SLI Bridge Design, which is designed for use with Nvidia's new Pascal GPUs in order to provide the best possible SLI scaling and stability. This new SLI bridge is also the first EVGA bridge to offer customizable lighting that has red, green, blue and white options.
Nvidia has designed their new SLI bridge in order to improve the stability of SLI when using displays that offer both high resolutions and high refresh rates, such as upcoming 5K displays or 120Hz 4K displays or 60Hz 4K displays with HDR.

Right now the pricing and release dates of both of these products are unknown, but both are something that we certainly want to look at in the future.

The HB SLi Bridge is very classy and it's not over the top unlike some other company who will remain nameless.Quote
