EK announces their XLC Predator 140 and 280 AIO liquid coolers

EK has announced their new XLC Predator 140 and 280 AIO CPU liquid coolers, both of which are available with quick disconnects and their EK Vardar 140mm fans.

Unlike most other All-in-one CPU liquid coolers EK has their pump integrated into their radiator, allowing them to mount a slim CPU water block which has design compromises to accommodate an integrated pump unit and reduces cable clutter by taking away the need for the CPU block to require power connections and unnecessary cable clutter.

Both the 280mm and 140mm units can be purchased with quick disconnects for easy expandability, though the 140mm unit is also available with standard black tubing without a quick disconnect at a reduced price.

At this time EK does not have any pricing information available for these two AIO liquid coolers, though they have already announced that Pre-orders for this unit will begin on September 7th.

The 140mm would be cool to use on a GPU in a small case Quote

I love AIOs if they are expandable, for any itx build then they are gold. Perfect for those small builds where its hard to fit a Res and a pump.

Anyone arguing that the pumps are not strong enough etc is just nonsence as for a itx loop then you wont use a lot of rads etc so it will be more than enough.

I am making a WC build in a Lian Li Q10 itx case and I am using the Fractal T12 AIO expanded for the gpu as well. It is great for saving space. A ddc or d5 would be killing a mosquito with a sledgehammer for such a small itx build + it looks better and saves much needed space.

Expandable AIOs FTW.Quote
