Resolution and framerate are very important factors for many gamers, especially on the PC where these options are user customizable. With Star Wars Battlefront’s beta currently underway many gamers are wondering is the game is running at it’s final framerate and resolution, wondering which of the two console have came out on top in terms of visual fidelity.

Speaking on Twitter DICE’s Johan Andersson had stated that the studio had placed visual fidelity and framerate above resolution, sacrificing a 1080p resolution on both consoles in order to make a game which was both visually intense and was displayed at a constant 60FPS framerate.

The PS4 version of the game has been confirmed to run at a resolution of 900p, with the Xbox one being confirmed to run at a very disappointing 720p, giving this version more noticeable aliasing and a general downgrade in visual quality.
