CIVILIZATION VI - First Look: England

Firaxis have given gamers their first look at Civilization VI's English Faction, complete with their unique units, buildings and gameplay strategies.

The Leader of the English Civ will be Queen Victoria, with England's unique units being suited mostly to naval based gameplay and expansion.

The English Sea Dog Naval unit will be more powerful than your enemies counterparts and have the ability to capture enemy naval units while the English Redcoat infantry will be able to embark and disembark from the sea without using a movement point and are stronger when outside of their home continent.

Culturally the English will be able to build museums with more archeological slots for the English to take better advantage of historical sites.

The English will also have a unique district in the Royal Navy Dockyard, which provided bonus movement for naval units built there and  bonus gold for dockyards on different continents as well as great admiral points.

The English are a very aggressive Civilization, offering many huge military advantages in the mid-game with their powerful unique units and the ability to shift to a late-game culture victory with the help of archeologists. England will certainly be an interesting Civilization to play as when the game launches later this year on October 21st.

I know graphics aren't everything, but seriously this game is ruined by graphs. Just looks to cartoony. If they simply reused Civ V graphics, wouldn't even be bothered.Quote

I think the graphics work when you are zoomed out it make troops clearer, considering you now can mix troops, I'm wondering how farms and such will work now you are building city stuff on tiles around your city normally you can only build farms so far awayQuote

Might make it more clear, but it's still bad looking to begin withQuote

This being civ I think there will be a mod or they will add an option to change it if enough people don't like itQuote
