ASUS' ROG Strix RX 480 GPU has been pictured, showing this GPU with ASUS' RGB illuminated DirectCU III cooler, ASUS' RGB backplate, and an 8-pin PCIe power connection. 

Sadly at this time ASUS has not announced the clock speeds of this GPU, though we can expect this GPU to feature a factory overclock and operate at lower temperatures than AMD's reference RX 480.

Right now the pricing and availability of this aftermarket RX 480 GPU have not been announced, but we will keep you updated as we learn more about this new GPU.

Seems kinda odd that the only 6 pin variant of the 480 is reference. Guess the Vendors knew before hand it would be limited from the start. Based off every Vendor so far pictured with 8pins instead of 6Quote

I'd like the gigabyte more if the fan stop wasn't on there... looks dumb. Like do I really need to know if they are spinning at all times? Probably faster to check afterburnerQuote
