ASUS introduced their new value oriented VG245Q FreeSync gaming display, coming with a highly adjustable stand and a sub $250 price.

This display will support FreeSync through HDMI and DisplayPort, supporting a maximum refresh rate of 75Hz. This gives this display a higher than average refresh rate, but a limited FreeSync range (likely 40-75Hz). This display will come with a single DisplayPort 1.2a connection, dual HDMA 1.4a connections and a single D-sub connection.

The VG245Q will also come with a highly adjustable VESA-compatible stand, which offers tilt, swivel, Pivot and height adjustment functionality.

I think it is funny that Asus is obviously trying to respond to the monitors by Nixeus, AOC and Viewsonic in this segment. Yet despite not matching the performance or features of these companies it is somehow big news Asus brought an inferior product at the same price point.Quote

Love that blue led stand vs their red on their ROG series. If it would come with an 27" 1440p, 144Hz and G-Sync, then I'd be all over that.Quote
