ASUS has now announced their GTX 1080 Strix OC 11Gbps, coming with a 10% memory overclock when compared to their previous GTX 1080 Strix models.

This new GPU will come with a larger version of ASUS' Strix cooler, coming with a 2.5-slot width instead of the 2-slot version used in the GTX 1080 Strix. This will give the GTX 1080 Strix OC 11Gbps cooler thermals and quieter operation than their older Strix 10Gbps counterparts.

At this time ASUS has not announced the core clock speeds of this new GTX 1080 variant, though it will likely be the same or higher and their existing GTX 1080 Strix OC. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.

Did you not see OC3D Tom Logan's preview of this card? The core clock speeds have been announced and have been released for a while now as the card has been reviewed already on other sites.Quote

Having a similar cooler on my card I can say I am well happy with it; looks aren't that important to me because it's upside down, but it's so nice and quiet and does a better job cooling job than the EVGA I had on the previous series.Quote
