AMD is ready for Ghost Recon Breakpoint's release with their new Radeon Software 19.9.3 driver, promising to deliver the best day-1 performance within Ubisoft's latest game release.

Sadly, this driver's release notes don't detail how game performance is impacted, though it is expected to mitigate specific performance dips and to help ensure smooth gameplay.

On top of the driver's Ghost Recon optimisations, AMD's Radeon Software 19.9.3 driver also adds support for Radeon Image Sharpening to the company's Vega series graphics cards in DirectX 12 and Vulkan titles. Supported GPUs now include AMD's Radeon VII, RX Vega 56, RX Vega 64 and Radeon Vega Frontier Edition. Before now RDNA/Navi and selected Polaris series graphics cards were supported. At this time it is unknown if extended API support will ever be provided in future drivers.
