AMD RX 580 benchmarks leak online

Benchmarks for AMD's RX 580 and RX 560 have leaked online, with the RX 580 showcasing performance that is similar to Nvidia's GTX 1070 at 1080p.
Right now it is unknown what AMD will be doing with the low-mid-end of their RX 500 series of GPUs, as right now Vega is only expected to make up the high-end of AMD's GPU lineup.
Previous rumours have suggested that the lower-end of AMD's RX 500 series will be made using enhanced versions of AMD's Polaris GPUs, using an improved 14nm process design that will allow these GPUs to be clocked higher and offer enhanced efficiencies. This will make these GPUs more than just a Polaris re-release, coming with enhanced performance and several noteworthy design tweaks.

Below is some additional benchmarks for what is allegedly an RX 560 GPU, which offers a lot more performance than what AMD's current RX 460 is capable of.

At this time no specification of these two new GPUs are known, though we expect them to be enhanced version of AMD's Polaris GPUs, rather than a completely different design from the company.

We expect to hear more about AMD's RX 500 series of GPUs in the near future. On February 28th AMD plans to reveal new details surrounding their new Vega GPU architecture and their next generation GPU at their "Capsaicin Live" web event.

its defo a polaris chip of some flavour, vega was knocking 4k out no sweat as an engineering sample, those scores are in 1080p, so 490 became 580 ? maybe fury revision with hbm2 or gddr5xQuote
