AMD Radeon WattMan OC App details leaked


Details of AMD's upcoming Radeon WattMan app has been leaked online, showcasing a much greater level of control over thermals, voltages and clock speeds. 

This new app will be replacing AMD Overdrive, giving AMD users a greater level of control over overclocking as well as clock speeds and voltages at lower power states.

In these leaked AMD/Sapphire slides, AMD states that they will be offering more day 1 driver support for upcoming games, giving AMD gamers the assurance that their GPUs will provide great gaming performance on even the newest applications. 

Ever since AMD introduced their new Radeon Software Crimson Drivers in late 2015 the day 1 support for new PC games has greatly increased, greatly improving the customer perception of AMD's GPU products as a whole. Hopefully, AMD can continue to improve their GPU drivers and offer greater support for modern applications.

Right now we are still eagerly waiting to see how AMD's new Polaris lineup of GPUs will perform with RX 480 releasing on June 29th, our review will be live then.
