AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Benchmarks Leak

Better than Nvidia's RTX 2070?

Specifications for AMD's Navi-based Radeon RX 5700XT Leak

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Benchmarks Leak

Yesterday, the specifications for AMD's Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card leaked online, revealing to the world the power of the Navi graphics architecture. Now, an AMD benchmarks slide for the graphics card has leaked, revealing the GPU's performance at 1440p when compared to Nvidia's RTX 2070.

In the slide below, which comes via Videocardz, AMD showcases preferable performance numbers when compared to Nvidia's RTX 2070, though the company doesn't specify whether or not they are comparing their graphics card to Nvidia's "reference" RTX 2070 model or the company's "factory overclocked" Founders Edition model.

Regardless, this performance data is meaningless without detailed pricing data, as AMD needs to offer better value for money than Nvidia's RTX 2070 to secure sales. Beyond that, there are power consumption, noise levels and overclockability to consider, factors which will remain a mystery until 3rd party reviews go live.

The leaked specifications for AMD's Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card are available below.

Too right, these aren't really worth anything until we see pricing. I'll be in bed probably when the event goes live so I'll check tomorrow morning to see how competitive AMD intend Navi to be.Quote

That looks pretty good, especially the Dx12 performance. And assuming it's a smaller die and GDDR6, the cost should be reasonable too.Quote

So I'm guessing the product stack will be from high to low end -

Radeon VII
Radeon 5700XT
RX-Vega 64
RX-Vega 56
RX-590
RX-580
RX-570
RX-560
RX-550

AMD really need to work on their naming schemes, It's all over the place.Quote

5700XT doesn't sound like the highest end card, it's possible that their whole product stack will be 5x00xx and others get phased out.Quote

I doubt we'll see anything higher than the Radeon 7 before 2020, AMD need customers to not get pi&&ed off and go over to Nvidia, If they released a Radeon 7 successor only a few months after launching it you can bet they will lose a lot of custom.Quote
