AMD R9 Nano can be used in Crossfire with an R9 Fury X
Â
It has just been revealed by Tweaktown that AMD’s R9 Nano GPU can be used in Crossfire with AMD’s R9 Fury and Fury X GPUs, an unsurprising feature given the fact that AMD’s R9 Nano and Fiji GPUs will be using the same Fiji GPU core. Â
Â
Â
Right now we do not know what the performance of AMD’s R9 Nano is like, but it will no doubt be impressive given this GPUs tiny form factor.

When compared to a R9 290X this GPU will be 16dB quieter, consumes 30% less power, is 40% shorter and a temperatures which are 20 degrees lower. Simply put this is a massive leap for AMD to make in a single generation, let’s hope AMD continues to make such strides in the future. Â
