Acer Unveils their Predator XB321HK 32" 4K G-Sync Monitor


Acer has just unvieled their new Predator XB321HK 32" 4K G-Sync Monitor, offering 100% sRGB coverage, 10-bit colour and an IPS panel with 4ms response times. 

Thsi display uses DisplayPort 1.2 and can also use HDMI, though Nvidia's G-Sync will only work through DisplayPort, the monitor will also contain a USB 3.0 hub and contain stereo speakers with enhanced DTS sound. 

With this screen being so large the stand is only able to offer 4.7 inches of height adjustment and can be tilted from -5 to 25 degrees. This monitor cannot be used in a portrait configuration.

I agree, it should have been 40" at least but that would have increased the price a lot. The max refresh rate of 60Hz is a bit of a blow and then there's the hardware required to run 4k but that will change soon (probably).

For those debating between the X34 and the X32, it's got to be the X34.Quote

32" is magnificent for 4k, it should of just been the minimum from the start, i'm sure G-Sync will help greatly with the experience too. On paper, this seems like the first sensible 'gaming' 4k monitor.
