X299 Motherboard roundup

When compared to Z270 and X370 X299 is an extremely expensive motherboard platform, coming with pricing which matches the extreme core counts that this platform will eventually offer. X299 is certainly not a value-oriented platform, though it is certainly a lot cheaper than Broadwell-E was on the CPU side.

I was definitely going to upgrade to the new X299 platform a couple of weeks ago and now im going to wait for x399 from AMD. Im not certain the price of admission is worth it after seeing the price of new boards.Quote

The only reason for me to upgrade is for a itx board... nothing else.Quote
