UK and US pricing for AMD's high-end Ryzen lineup has leaked, with the flagship model being priced at below $500 and 8-core models costing as little as $320.

These priced come from a variety of retail sources, not only listing pricing by also confirming some core clock speeds for specific SKUs. AMD's Ryzen 8-core CPUs appear to come with TDPs of between 65W and 95W, making them significantly less power hungry than AMD's older Piledriver-based 8-core CPUs.

Below is a list of leaked US, UK and EU prices for Ryzen, all of which is in the same ballpark after taking into account VAT and other pricing considerations.

Hopefully, we will also be seeing pricing and specifications for AMD's 6-core and 4-core Ryzen CPUs soon, as these 8-core models are already highly competitive with Intel's latest CPU offerings.

Right now Intel's 8-core 16-thread i7 6900K costs €1109 and their 4-core 8-thread i7 7700K costs €360 in the EU, allowing AMD users to buy an 8-core CPU with only a small price increase compared to Intel's flagship quad-core CPU.

One thing that also must be remembered is that all of AMD's Ryzen SKUs are overclockable, giving enthusiasts a great opportunity to achieve great performance/$ out of their Ryzen CPUs, especially when using lower-end CPUs.

These priced will likely force Intel to reconsider the pricing of their Kaby Lake CPU lineup, as it seems like AMD will greatly upset the status-Quo.

AMD R7 series CPUs are listed as having 8-cores and 16, threads, with R5 CPUs having either four or six-core configurations with SMT enabled. AMD's lower end R3 series CPUs will have 4 cores and 4 threads (SMT disabled).

During their Q4 earnings call, AMD has confirmed that their new Ryzen CPUs and AM4 series motherboards will be launching in early March, which means that we should be learning more about AMD's new Ryzen series CPUs soon.

1700 is an amazing price. Just over three hundred notes. Mind you the other two are decent as well.Quote

I really hope these prices are right. I'd love to get a six-core CPU and an X300 motherboard for ~£350.Quote

Looking at it they are obviously targeting the 6800k and up with the 8 core range.

Over $100 less and two extra cores and threads. That's quite a jump !

I have no doubt at all that you should be able to attain your goal though. If the most expensive 6 core starts at £300 for example then the cheapest should be £200 or so, meaning you have £150 left for a board. Which would be mid/high end.Quote

R3, R5 and R7 compete with
i3, i5 and i7? Funny enough Let's just hope not to get disappointed, because my next PC might be running an AMD CPU then!Quote
