Gigabyte announce their Z270X Designare motherboard

Gigabyte has announced their Z270X Designare motherboard coming with RGBW lighting, a silver colour scheme and modern features like an internal USB 3.1 header and U.2 storage support.

This new motherboard is aimed at content creators, with a design that complements Nvidia's Founders Edition/reference GPU designs and is usable with fast M.2 and U.2 storage solutions.

This motherboard will come with an RGBW LED header, allowing RGBW lighting solutions that are connected to this motherboard to provide true white lighting, as well as RGB lighting combinations. Anyone who works with normal RGBs will know that white light settings will often use too much blue light, green light or red light and make an off-white LED colour, RGBW solves this issue with a dedicated white LED option.

This is their premium board (kinda like DELUXE series), and they gave it 6 phases? Content creators don't overclock their CPUs for better performance?Quote

Nice looking board. Don't like the Designaire thing, that would have to go. You don't really need any more than six phases for a 4c 8t chip that uses hardly any power either.Quote

"This new motherboard is aimed at content creators" they tend to use multicore beasts. Unless they aimed it at bloggers.Quote
